  • Fast shutter (1/1000s) = Freeze motion like it owes you money. Think sports, dancing, or your dog doing zoomies.

  • Slow shutter (½s or more) = Silky-smooth blurs—perfect for waterfalls, fireworks, or that moody early morning mist.

 Pro tip: Use a tripod and a 2-second timer for long exposures—unless you want your lights to look like you sneezed mid-shot..
