Shooting Modes – Dial In Your Style

These modes are your vibe selectors:

  • M (Manual): You’re the boss. Total control.

  • A/Av (Aperture Priority): You choose depth, camera sorts the speed. Great for storytelling.

  • S/Tv (Shutter Priority): You choose motion, camera adjusts light. Ideal for sports/action.

  • P (Program): Semi-auto, decent fallback when your brain’s on coffee break.

  • Auto / Scene Modes: Use them to start—but don’t build your career on it.

Focus Modes – Because Fuzzy is Only Cute in Cats

Your camera’s got options:

  • One-Shot AF (AF-S): Focus and lock—perfect for portraits.

  • AI Servo (AF-C): Continuous tracking. Great for kids, pets, or chaos.

  • Manual: Old-school control. Especially useful for macro or vintage lenses.

Try different focus points. Your subject shouldn’t always be centre stage.
